The Too Familiar Symptoms of a Migraine

I was at work when the all too familiar symptoms of a migraine started coming on.

Lights were too bright, every sound was so loud and the stabbing pain on the right side of my head above my eye. The over the counter medicine didn’t touch the pain and I started feeling nausea from the pain.

I’m at that point where I have to take an Imitrex or I can’t function. It is the only thing that can stop a migraine even at the peak of pain.

Usually in less than 20 – 30 minutes and it doesn’t knock me out. I can continue working. It’s a lifesaver.

I’ve been dealing with a migraine for a really long time. I realized that I really need to take a pill in order to function. Luckily I found the medicine that works for me.

Now, every time I come close to the familiar symptoms I try to act as soon as I can. Living with a migraine is really hard, but I found the way to manage.
